Out & About Florida is Produced by Tim Dahms, a 24 Year Veteran of the broadcast television industry.

Tim's career has been wide and varied, finding him working for Television stations in Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Birmingham, and Fort Lauderdale, and in many positions including News Director, and Director of Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Telecasts.

Tim has also worked for major production facilities around the country where his positions included Senior Editor and Broadcast Producer for Zimmerman Advertising in Fort Lauderdale.

Tim's career highlights include many awards including the BPME Gold Medallion, multiple Addy Awards, and a Southwest Regional Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Tim's mission for Out & About Florida is to "Put the LGBT Community's Best Foot Forward," seeking to portray the community in a much more real light than mainstream television often does.
